Ethiopian Single Origin. 2026 Edition.

For those who appreciate brightness, complexity, and the craftsmanship behind exceptional beans.

Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and Sidama produces some of the most expressive cups in the world. Sidama Sunrise is crafted from indigenous Ethiopian heirloom varieties — a genetically diverse, largely unclassified pool of Arabica cultivars that no other origin can replicate — grown at 1,800–2,200m in Sidama's high-altitude terroir.

Naturally processed: whole cherries dried on raised beds for 16 days, allowing fruit sugars to develop extraordinary depth and clarity. Roasted light to preserve every layer of origin character.

The result: ripe berry sweetness, stone fruit, delicate jasmine florals, and a wine-like complexity that unfolds as it cools. Specialty-grade Arabica, roasted fresh to order — Ethiopian coffee at its most expressive.

SCA Score: 84/100 — Premium Specialty Grade

Best Brewed:

In the Cup

Bright, aromatic, and layered. Berry sweetness leads, stone fruit and florals follow, and a wine-like finish lingers as the cup cools. Best experienced black — nothing should stand between you and the origin.

Origin & Region

Ethiopia, Sidama: Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and Sidama exemplifies the country's extraordinary genetic diversity and terroir-driven complexity. Grown at very high altitudes using indigenous heirloom varieties, these coffees express deep floral, fruit, and wine-like characteristics unique to Ethiopian natural processing traditions.

Blend Composition

Ethiopian Heirloom Typical Ethiopian heirloom varieties — an incredibly diverse and largely unclassified gene pool of indigenous Arabica cultivars. This genetic richness is what gives Ethiopian coffees their unmatched aromatic complexity, floral character, and layered fruit profiles that no other origin can replicate.

Altitude & Processing

1,800-2,200 MASL (meters above sea level) Natural/dry process with the whole cherry dried on raised beds for 14–21 days, with this specific lot dried for 16 days. Raised-bed drying ensures even airflow and consistent cherry fermentation, enhancing the vibrant fruit and floral complexity that defines Ethiopian natural coffees. Final moisture content of 10–12% ensures optimal stability and shelf life.
