Preparation Instructions

Before First Use

  1. Clean the whisk - Rinse your bamboo whisk under warm water
  2. Pre-soak - Soak the whisk in warm water (around 80°C/176°F) to soften the tines
  3. Grip properly - Hold the whisk to ensure better control during whisking
  4. Prepare your tools - Have your bowl and ingredients ready

How to Prepare Your Matcha

  1. Scoop the powder - Use the tea scoop to measure approximately 1-2 scoops (about 1-2 grams) of matcha powder and place in your bowl
  2. Add water - Pour a small amount of warm water (about 60-80 ml) to cover the matcha powder
  3. Whisk - Use the matcha whisk to blend the mixture in a "W" shape motion until the matcha powder and water are fully combined into a smooth paste
  4. Add more water and whisk - Pour in more warm water (about 60-80 ml) and continue whisking in a "W" shape until a fine foam appears on the surface
  5. Place whisk on holder - Rest the bamboo whisk on the whisk holder to maintain its shape
  6. Enjoy your matcha - Your ceremonial matcha is now ready to drink

Ceremonial grade matcha sourced from shade-grown tea gardens in renowned Japanese growing areas. Tender, first-harvest leaves are stone-milled into an ultra-fine powder, emphasizing sweetness, vibrancy, and umami.

Blend Composition

100% Matcha Single-cultivar and select-cultivar blends of shade-grown, first-flush tencha, stone-milled to preserve aroma, color, and sweetness.

Altitude & Processing

Typical tea elevations: 300–2,000 ft Shade-grown for several weeks to enhance chlorophyll and amino acids, then hand-plucked, steamed to prevent oxidation, dried, and de-stemmed into tencha before slow stone-milling into fine matcha.
