Sourced from smallholder farms across two of Guatemala's most celebrated regions: Huehuetenango, one of the country's highest and driest growing areas, with limestone-rich soils that develop dense, sweet coffees with vibrant acidity and Antigua, nestled between three volcanoes, where rich volcanic soil and a stable climate produce exceptional balance and body. Bourbon, Caturra, and Typica varietals (1,500–2,000m, fully washed) processed to let the complex chocolate, fruit, and tea-like characteristics shine through with exceptional clarity.

The cup: chocolate and maple up front, plum brightness through the mid-palate, apple sweetness, and a refined black tea finish. Smooth, structured, and vibrant without ever being sharp. Specialty-grade Arabica, roasted fresh to order; a true expression of Guatemalan terroir.

Huehuetenango is one of Guatemala's highest and driest coffee regions, known for its rugged terrain, limestone-rich soils, and high-quality smallholder production. These natural conditions help develop dense, sweet coffees with vibrant acidity. Antigua, located in a valley surrounded by three volcanoes, offers rich volcanic soil and a stable climate, ideal for producing coffees with exceptional balance, body, and sweetness.

Blend Composition

Premium Guatemalan Arabica varietals that thrive in high-altitude volcanic soils. Bourbon offers a sweet, balanced profile with notes of red fruit and chocolate; Caturra brings bright acidity and citrusy vibrancy; while Typica provides clean structure and complexity. These heritage varietals work together to create the distinctive Guatemalan profile of chocolate sweetness, fruit complexity, and tea-like finish that defines this exceptional origin.

Altitude & Processing

Limestone Ridge (SO) A smooth and complex light/medium Guatemalan single origin with rich notes o...

I’m pretty particular about my coffee: whole beans only, freshly ground, brewed in an Aeropress. No mainstream stuff.

Limestone Ridge earns a strong 8.5/10 from me.

It’s rich and flavorful, with a little more brightness and acidity than Heritage Peak (Which is my favorite). Not quite as smooth, but still an excellent cup. If you like a medium roast with a bit more kick and liveliness, this might actually be your preference.

Another really solid offering from Crema Peaks. I’m genuinely excited to have found this company.
